Kylian den Toirneach (“War of the Thunder”) (@rubberponykylian) is
a shire draught horse that hails from the DMV region, but spends a
great deal of time in the fields of Northern Ireland every year.
Kylian has been active in kink communities since 2007, starting with
Lycra (the gateway drug as he calls it), then rubber 8 years later, and
finally realizing his pony-self in 2019. As a pony, Kylian has slowly
emerged as a leader within the pony play community, serving as an
advocate in larger kink spaces, moderating existing online pony
gathering spaces, and creating resources for introductory and further
education in pony play, including the “Pony Play Not-so-Quick Start
Guide” and the upcoming podcast, “Straight from the Horse’s Mouth,”
an exploration of pony play and other kink topics from experts in the
community.
Outside of kink, Kylian is a professional orchestra conductor, recording studio manager, and non-profit executive director with 15 years-experience in volunteer management and event production.
When he’s not being a work horse, he enjoys video games, fantasy novels, and spending most of the autumn at the Renaissance Festival.
