Hey there! I’m Kjatar, also known as Pony Freyja.
I got involved in Black Rose and the Crucible just after college, first with their TNG group and then the broader community. I’ve always been a bottom-leaning switch; I love helping to make people squirm, but even more than that I enjoy being on the other end of the leash, or the lash. I got interested in pony play when I was younger after finding a cache of pictures and stories on the early internet, and some ideas I could never quite shake. It was years before I got the chance to dip my toe in for real, but I could tell immediately I was in the right place; Piper, Adelasia, and the others made that place feel like home. Being a good pony and executing what I was being guided to do felt good and right.
Outside of the kink world, I’m primarily known as a hacker (or Cybersecurity Expert, if you want to be formal about it). I’ve earned four DEF CON black badges, significant achievements in the field demonstrating skill in the face of tough competition and adversity.
The biggest takeaway from my years in that field is that no matter who you’re around, there’s always something you can learn, and always something you can teach; this applies just as much to the world of kink we all inhabit.

I feel I have been into the lifestyle most of my life. At 16 I asked my boyfriend hey you know
what sounds like fun and he let me tie him up. Once I found the public scene in 2005 I was off and running. In 2007 I was dragged by a friend into pony camp at my first Camp Crucible. It was love at first sight. I have been a rider and trainer of Bio horses most of my life. It was so natural to fall right into the role of trainer. By the next year I was presenting classes. Pony play has become my first love in the BDSM community, but it is followed closely by my love of impact play and predicament bondage. Currently the loves of my life are Stryder, Teddy and Benny my three Bio Horses. In the vanilla world I teach others to ride and help train horse. I use that skill in my pony play. I bring the skills I have as a trainer of young Bio Horses and apply the same principles to training the Human pony. In my vanilla life I could not imagine not having horses in it, I feel the same in the BDSM life I could not image it with out have the pony play in my life.
